IV Interdepartmental Scientific and Practical Conference "Criminal and Operational-Search Legislation: Problems of Intersectoral Relations and Prospects for Improvement"

On November 30, 2018, the Ryazan branch of the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V.Y. Kikot hosted an interdepartmental scientific and practical conference “Criminal and operational-search legislation: problems of intersectoral relations and prospects for improvement”.

The conference was attended by: Head of the Ryazan Branch of the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V.Y. Kikot, Police Colonel A.V. Doronin; Doctor of Law, Professors: K.K. Goryainov, V.I. Mikhailov, A.A. Chistyakov, N.V. Rumyantsev, N.S. Zheleznyak; representatives of educational and research institutions of Russia; law enforcement practitioners; faculty, cadets, students and adjuncts of the University.

The conference was opened by the head of the Ryazan branch of the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V.Y. Kikot, Police Colonel A.V. Doronin. Andrey Valeryevich welcomed the audience and noted that the discussion of the problems of improving intersectoral relations of criminal and operational-search legislation is extremely important and relevant for increasing the effectiveness of combating crime.

Within the framework of the meeting, a wide range of issues was discussed, among them: criminal law means of ensuring human rights and freedoms in the implementation of operational and search activities; the basics of the use of disinformation in operational-search activities; problems of determining the stages of commission of crimes identified as a result of operational-search activities;  ensuring respect for human rights and freedoms in the implementation of operational and search activities in special conditions; actual problems of criminal liability for crimes of an extremist nature, identified and solved by operational-search means.
